This week my mother, myself, my daughter and my daughter's friend went away together. We laughed, joked, and enjoyed each other's company. Everyday I thank God for Jen (my daughter) for being the teriffic person that she is. The more time I spend with her the more I realize just how wonderful she is and the more I know that she gets it from her grandmother. They are both so special to me!

This is a beautiful picture of the 3 generations. Glad you had such a good time together.
Your little grandsons are adorable. Congratulations on the new little one! What a sweet little fellow he is.
That's a gorgeous house your son has just moved into. It's a wonderful feeling to see the kids getting settled, isn't it? Sounds like tears of happiness to me, with just a little sadness about the havng to "let go". Normal feelings for a loving mom.
Are you sleeping any better? I hope so.
Thanks for visiting.
How nice that you have such relationships with your daughter and your Mom. My Mom and I used to be very close. When I grew up and changed (most people say for the better, less bossy ;) ), became my own person, my Mom has had difficulty letting go of who I was at 17/18 years old. I'm 42 now. I'm praying that she will be able to just enjoy who I have become over the years. She says she does, but she has had trouble letting any of her 7 children "grow up" in her mind. I don't want that for my kids.
